Lighting the Way: The Story Behind Luminary ABA
Learn more about Tyler Conteh’s journey and the vision that inspired the creation of Luminary Applied Behavior Analysis.

Hi, I’m Tyler Conteh, MS, BCBA, NY-LBA, and the founder of Luminary Applied Behavior Analysis.
I created Luminary with a heartfelt mission: to provide compassionate, personalized ABA services
and supportive, accessible supervision—especially for individuals and communities that have
historically been underserved.
My journey began at San Francisco State University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in
Psychology. I went on to complete my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis at Russell Sage
College of Albany, where I deepened both my clinical knowledge and my passion for making
ABA meaningful and human-centered.
I’ve worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 12 years supporting individuals
across the lifespan in homes, schools, and community settings across California and New York,
supporting clients, families, and aspiring behavior analysts with care, cultural humility, and
evidence-based practice. Through Luminary ABA, I strive to create a space where people are
empowered—not just to change behavior, but to build confidence, connection, and long-term
success.
At Luminary ABA, I offer:
-
Individualized ABA services tailored to each client’s strengths and needs
-
Virtual BCBA supervision that’s affordable, flexible, and rooted in mentorship
-
Professional development and exam prep for future BCBAs
-
Collaborative, wraparound support for families, schools, and service providers
Above all, I’m committed to increasing access to high-quality ABA in underserved communities,
because every individual deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive with dignity and support.
Thanks for visiting—I’d love to connect and see how Luminary ABA can help light the way
forward on your journey.
